The Real Strength of a Mother

The strength of a mother can run 13.1 miles, struggle and push through. She can cross that finish line and yet..see her hungry baby waiting, then present her own body to nourish that child.

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 1 Cor 9:24

The strength of a mother will hold back the tears of her own hurting heart to comfort and wipe away the tears of her hurting child.

Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. Psalm 126:5

The strength of a mother, will teach her children how to dance and sing when she feels the sorrow wanting to take over her soul.

The young women will dance for joy, and the men—old and young—will join in the celebration. I will turn their mourning into joy. I will comfort them and exchange their sorrow for rejoicing. Jer 31:13

The strength of a mother will stand and hold her 25 lb toddler on her hip with one arm, while lifting the other arm in praise.

Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the LORD. Psalm 134:2
