Yes, we returned. This time to explore in the other direction, on the other side of the beach. When you get down to the beach, we turned right this time. Still the same issue, no sea life in the tide pools.
And again...who complains for a day at the beach?
We collected lots of sea glass for out fairy gardens.

We create our own adventure. I let my kiddos explore, with safe risks. I let them take the less traveled trails, or pretty much make their own. Why not go down the steep path? It may make the climbing up worth it.
The crashing waves are beautiful.
