O my poor neglected blog! This week is filled w/ crazy-madness of the most blessed kinds!
Sunday was Easter & Monday was Kurtis FIRST birthday. {sniff-sniff} We went to Rain Forest Cafe to celebrate. Believe it or not, we had never been there before. Then we went to Build-A-Bear workshop and let K pick out a bear. I didn't think he'd be too into it, at his age, but he was. It was so cute how he chose his bear & hugged it to pieces.
He has recently become frightened easy of the weirdest things and this was still true at the restaurant. The food was over priced, but ok enough. I commented that I thought it would have been cheaper to eat inside Disneyland!
We experienced an earthquake on Easter. It was very different from any any of us had experienced before. It was all swaying instead of shaking. It made me feel dizzy and it felt like pressure was on my head. weird, for sure.
I can't believe K is ONE year old. His party is this Saturday and I'm using it as an excuse to do some Spring cleaning. It seems to be working. I spent all day today in the kitchen cleaning and have it 3/4 of the way done but now I am spent. I *should* be working on his birthday decorations but I'm not....
I will praobably really regret that tomorrow...{sigh}
Wow! Happy Birthday little man! I can't believe it's been a year already. :)
