'Little House' Weather

It has been a pretty mild September, I must say. Even a bit 'chilly' lately.

It makes me think of Little House on the Prairie. So I call it 'Little House weather'. The type of weather that makes you want to snuggle in bed w/ lots of fluffy blankets & read Little House books, drink warm tea, bake apple pies (from scratch). Move slower, stay in more, give LOTS of hugs, warm towels in the dryer to welcome you out of the shower, make chocolate chip cookies, do fall leaf rubbings, crochet, sew quilts & know Christmas is right around the corner. It's cozy.

I know it's still officially 'summer' & as sure as I write this we will probably have a heat wave tomorrow! lol
