As I tucked in my littles last night, DS began to pray:
DearJesus,pleaseprotectme,keepmesafe.
Whoa, Whao...Say a REAL prayer, I told him.
MoooOOOommm that's what I ALWAYS say. I know. I asked him how he would feel if every day all I said to him was: S,Iloveyou,goodnight,S,Iloveyou,goodnight.S,Iloveyougoodnight.
I thought he got the point.
He restarted his prayer:
Dear...Jesus....
Please....p r o t e c t....meeee....keeeep...meeee...s a f e...&...w a r m....& I...hope daddy has the day off tomorrow. Amen.
Then L went into her usually Looooooooooonnnnggg list of: 'thank you for's'...& naming EVERYTHING she is thankful for. This can last for quite a few minutes.
