It's that moment when you're feeling so down and suddenly you're blessed in such a way that you know, that you know, that you know you have done *something* & right in your life. And you know that that *something* was nothing you could have accomplished on your own, but by the grace of God. You realize, your words, your actions, everything you've been pouring in to your children--at least something has gotten through.
In that moment-you know, you are a Mother.
I came home Tuesday feeling pretty down. My daughter was excited for me to go to my room and see what she had left me on my bed--a small bouquet of flowers and this note.
How is it that it stated *exactly* what I needed to hear/read that day?
I know how.
My children are being taught to listen to the promptings of the Lord.
They are being taught to give prophetic or encouraging words, inspired by the Holy Spirit of God.
This isn't the first time...often at church they draw pictures for attendees. Often, these pictures are very moving and personal for the recipients.
This time...it was personal for me. I was blessed.
In case you can't read it, this is what it says:
Dear Mom,
I give you these flowers to remind you how much I love you. You are so beautiful. God made you to be a leader and you have done that and will still do that until you can not. And then you will have four new leaders, Kurtis, Sam, Liberty and Ernie but Ernie is already beginning to be a leader. Mom when you feel you have no one else to rely on you can always rely on God and Jesus.
Love,
Liberty
Wow awesome! I love to see God move especially when he uses a child!! I guess their minds aren't as cluttered as ours are and they "hear" better!
